The Asteriscus Compact Gold Coin, 'Asteriscus maritimus', displays yellow daisy like flowers that do not close at night. The foliage is attractive, shiny, and a lush emerald green in color. Gold Coin is somewhat drought tolerant and is often used in rock gardens, containers and mass plantings. This plant will flower continuously from April through August. They are easy to grow and care for. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial.
